BATTLE ROYALE II cast - the students

The cast pages are divided into the following sections:

Wild Seven - The Anti-BR terrorist group led by Shuya Nanahara.
Students -
The new ninth grade class kidnapped for BRII.
Grownups and Others - Adults and other characters who aren't among the groups above.

In BR2, a new class of ninth graders is conscripted to hunt down Shuya Nanahara as part of the "Battle Royale II" program. The students work in pairs, and each pair's collars are linked so that when one dies, their partner does, too. This time around, the girls outnumber the boys, so a few girls are paired up with other girls.

Note on the names: Names are written American-style (given name first, family name last), contrary to traditional Japanese style. 6/14/03: These names have been revised to match the confirmed romanizations of the names published in the BRII tie-in book BRII: Variations.

THE STUDENTS (Shikanotoride Jr. High Class 3-B)

The students are subdivided into six groups--three boys' groups, and three girls' groups.
Many of the students are transfer students who are made to attend Shikanotoride for different reasons. Other students are locals who live in town and attend the school because it's their neighborhood school.
Thanks to "Kiriyama" from the Battle Royale Forums for providing much of the translation for the character profiles.
