Merchandise - Clothing and Apparel

In addition to licensed T-shirts (right), BR merchandising also included a clothing line released by Japanese clothing and design company BA-TSU, the firm which also designed the costumes for the movie (and its sequel).

The BA-TSU BR line not only included replicas of the khaki school uniform shown in the film, but also an array of clothing that incorporated elements of the BR uniform design (the lace-up skirts and the peekaboo slips, for example). The following is just a sampling of all the different BA-TSU releases tied in to the first BR.

BA-TSU went on to release a second clothing line tied in to the war-themed sequel, Battle Royale II.
