When it
comes to tie-in merchandising, NOBODY does it better than the Japanese.
With the Battle Royale franchise, there's truckloads of different goods
out there, and this attempt at cataloging them is nowhere near complete
(especially since the number of items just doubled with the sequel).
This section doesn't deal with DVD's of the films themselves; check out
the Video section of the site for information
on the different editions available. For more information about the novel

How do I buy
this stuff?
Unfortunately, unless you live
in Japan, it's nearly impossible to do so. With the exception
of the books and the music,
much of which can be found in online stores like Amazon
Japan and CDJapan which
have English-friendly interfaces and ship products overseas, Battle Royale
goods--particularly the ones made and sold in Japan--are difficult to
find and nearly impossible to buy.
A few items occasionally turn up on eBay,
but you'll find more showing up in Yahoo!
Japan Auctions. The problem is, most of these sellers will NOT take
overseas orders or ship overseas. For hefty commission fees, middleman
services such as Rinkya will bid for
you, but obviously luck and money play a factor here--luck in finding
an item you actually want and not being outbid by someone else, and money
in being able to afford the winning bid, Rinkya's commission and the shipping
fees (there'll be two--you're paying for shipping from the seller to Rinkya,
and from Rinkya to you). So it's not totally impossible, but the prospects
are slim.

Japanese Goods - From mousepads to card games to toys--the entire universe of Battle Royale gotta-have-its.
Japanese Books - An entire library of BR-related books.
Clothing
and Apparel - There aren't many movies with entire clothing lines
devoted to them.
Related Videos - Documentaries and supplementary material marketed separately on video/DVD.
Music
- Information about the soundtracks and the artist who contributed music
to the movies.
Foreign Merchandise - When other countries get in on the merchandising action.
